Derek the Chef

Those who love their seafood but prefer others to catch and cook it will love Derek the Chef's Oceanz Boulevard.

Derek has again got together with top fresh fish retailer, Oceanz to offer show visitors a rare treat.

Oceanz will be displaying a wide selection of super-fresh, top quality seafood each day. Show visitors can either buy this to take home or simply give it to Derek the Chef. He and his team will then turn this freshly-bought seafood into a delicious meal for you — at no extra cost!*

Located in the cafe/bar area in Hall 7, Derek the Chef will also give regular cooking demonstrations, showing the best ways to prepare and cook a huge variety of seafood.

*Meal includes your seafood cooked for free with salad. Chips are extra.

NewstalkZB on board at NZ’s No.1 boat show

NewsTalkZBThe country’s number one radio station, NewstalkZB, is now on board at the country’s largest and most popular boat show, the Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show.

NewstalkZB joins fellow Radio Network station Radio Hauraki as media partners for the boat show, which is held in May each year at the ASB Showgrounds in Greenlane, Auckland.

“Having both NewstalkZB and Radio Hauraki as media partners is a real coup for the Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show,” says show general manager, Dave Gibbs.

“Both NewstalkZB and Radio Hauraki are absolute stand-outs in their markets. Our visitor surveys have constantly shown that they are the most popular stations among visitors to our show.

“They are also both enthusiastic about the Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show and will do a superb job of promoting this year’s event, which runs from 13-16 May.

“We know that, as New Zealand’s number one radio station, with the country’s most respected broadcasters, NewstalkZB gets an enormous number of requests to partner with shows and events. They are obviously very selective about who they do partner with and we are very proud they have chosen to come on board with New Zealand’s favourite boat show.”

NewstalkZB’s Bill Francis says the new association is a great opportunity for The Radio Network to extend its association with and support of the Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show.

“Radio Sport and Radio Hauraki have done a wonderful job with the boat show over the years. Adding NewstalkZB into the mix adds another powerful demographic: business owners and business decision makers, over 35 years of age and in the upper socio-economic groups.

“This is a great demographic for the Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show and one in which NewstalkZB is particularly strong.”

A number of other leading Radio Network stations will also help promote the 2010 Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show. These include long-time supporters Radio Sport, Classic Hits, ZM and Coast.
